Very few things turn our heads in today’s hotel industry, but Aloft Bangkok on Sukhumvit 11 has done just that. Check out their new “Touch Room” featuring Fingi Technology.
The “Touch Room” will equip guests with the Fingi Controller (a.k.a. The Aloft Touch). Given at check-in, this mobile personal communications and control device gives guests the ability to customize and manage their hotel experience at a touch of a button.

The list of features is numerous, starting from check-in to check-out. Guests can use it as their room key, control the lighting and temperature of their room, and use it as a remote control for the stereo and television.
For a touch of home, the controller also helps you connect with your iTunes account, allowing guests to stream movies previously purchased into Aloft’s Apple TV. You can also use it to connect to the concierge, review menus and make a reservation at the restaurants, or order room service at the touch of a finger.
“Aloft takes the guest experience to the next level with Fingi technology in our Touch Rooms,” says Brendan Daly, general manager of Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11. “Today’s modern traveller will appreciate how we have incorporated the latest technology to improve their convenience, comfort and overall experience. We are giving them something they have likely never seen before, the ability to directly manage their own hotel stay.”
The Aloft Touch also allows you to plan your trip around Bangkok, with useful information on all the city has to offer. Additionally, it functions as a local phone number and wireless hotspot on and off property, allowing guests to make local calls.
What’s even more surprising is that Aloft Bangkok – Sukumvit 11 is the first hotel in the world to premiere Fingi technology, so you can be sure that all the maps, support, and information works within our city. Now that’s another reason to love Bangkok.
