Fancy some Manchego cheese or Jamon Iberico?  Word has it that there's a new Spanish chef in town serving up grub at Tapas Y Vino, The Grand Millennium Sukhumvit.  Victor Burgos at age 27 already has 8 years of experience under his belt cooking in top hotels like The Grand Hotel Bahia del Buque, El Chaflan Restraunt (1 Michelin Star), The Berkeley Hotel, Le Teta y la Luna Restaurant, and Aman New Delhi.   Just before joining the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit, Burgos was Sous Chef at Aman Sveti Stefan, Villa Milocer at the Republic of Montenegro.  

So what can we expect from this new chef?  First, there is a reworked menu, combining long time favorites of Tapas Y Vino with his own traditional Spanish style.  This includes a 3-course Business Set Lunch (served 12:00 – 14:00) each with 4 choices for starters, 4-5 choices for mains, 3 choices for desserts, non-alcoholic drinks, and coffee.  Starters include fresh dishes like Coca con Escalivada Y Anchoas (Roasted Onion, Red Capsicum and Eggplant topped with Anchovies and Mixed Salad), and the sweet Ensalada de Melon con Jamon (Salad of Greens with Jamon Serrano and Melon, Sherry dressing, and honey).  


Main courses cater to the needs of both light lunchers and those looking to fill up with dishes like Penne con Chorizo Y Salsa de Tomate (Penne with Spanish Chorizo and tomato and Basil Sauce), and Salmon al Horno à la Naranja Y Menta (Baked Salmon with Orange and Mint, Sauteed new Potato Dressed with Garlic and Chives.) The menu will change weekly, and is priced at THB 450 net. per person.  


Come dinner time, try the new Taps Flow Selections—with a range of Spanish tapas or all you can eat Paella with free flow house wine for THB 850 net per person.  Dinner runs 18:00 – 22:30 hrs.
