Steak is on our mind.  


But we're not craving wagyu or kobe… our latest grill fixation?  Ostrich.


 For anyone who hasn't tried ostrich, it's comparable to high quality beef, but without the fat needed to render it soft.  The result is an extremely tender red meat with two-thirds less fat than beef or pork, and significantly less cholesterol and calories than beef, chicken, pork, turkey, or lamb.


Sound good?  Find it at VIE Wine & Grill throughout the month of April 2011.  Chef Supat Chinsangtip cooks up 3 variations: Ostrich in Asian Stir Fried with Black Pepper and Bell Peppers, Ostrich in Red Wine Sauce, and a special Ostrich with Kiwi Reduction.  Along with the steaks, enjoy VIE's selection of Thai and Western cuisine, fresh pastas, salads, and desserts.
