To celebrate October and the vegetarian festival, Verandah at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Bangkok presents a special meat-free menu.  Both vegan vegetarian and lacto-ovo vegetarian dishes are available.  Diners can choose from appetizers like Assorted Grilled Vegetable Salad with Lemon Juice and Olive Oil Dressing (THB 270++) and Mushroom Cream Soup (THB 310++.)


Light dishes include Home-made Vegetable Ravioli in Light Cream Sundried Tomato and Basil Sauce (THB 360++)and Tomatoes Stuffed with Smoked Eggplants and Ricotta Tomato Sauce and Garlic Cream (THB 390++.)  Main courses include the filling Flaky Potato Pie with Butter Head Salad and Red Wine Vinaigrette (THB 390++); Phad Thai Jay, a Wok-fried Rice Noodle with Vegetables and Chinese Chives, Banana Blossom and Bean Sprouts (THB 320++); or Protient Kaset Phad Ga-Prow a stir-fried vegetable protein with tofu, assorted capsicums, holy basil, and mild chilies served over Hom Mali Rice (THB 310++.)
