Nahm opened with much controversy.  Led by Australian born Michelin-Star Chef, David Thompson, it had locals in an uproar over foreigners cooking Thai food—but personal opinions aside, all can agree that Nahm serves some amazingly good Thai food, along with extremely rare offerings found nowhere else.  After all, Thompson studied the art of Thai cuisine for decades, collecting recopies from all over the Kingdom to perfect his craft.

The serving style is slightly different than other restaurants, in which portions are given based on the total number at the table, and dishes are meant to be passed around.  Everything is seasoned to the original recipe, so instead of asking to dull down the spices, look for an alternatively milder dish.

From Rama IV take a Taxi down Sathorn Tai Rd, after passing the Banyan Tree, look for the Metropolitan Bangkok on your left.
