Suan Luang Rama IX Park

This 200-acre park was built to commemorate King Rama IX's 60th birthday.  It holds a variety of botanical species separated into different garden types, and a large water garden that runs throughout the park. A central building (Rachamongkol Pavilion) sits over the main lake and is normally used to house a small museum dedicated to the King.

 

Directions:

Located behind Paradise Park and Seacon Square mall. You can drive to Srinakarin road and turn left to Chalermprakiet Rama 9 or by public bus No. 511 and 206. Entrance fee is only 10 baht per person and 30 baht for car parking. No charges after 5 pm.
